Summer Camps & Conferences

Texas A&M University at Galveston currently has limited space available for groups seeking to host a conference or event on-campus during the Summer. Our available dates range from late May until the first of August. Please contact our Summer Conferences Coordinator to discuss options for your desired program.

Texas A&M University at Galveston works to keep costs low and looks forward to new avenues for the community to explore everything our campus has to offer. In general, organizations and programs intended to involve participants in leadership building, educational endeavors, and/or community service will be welcomed as a summer group at Texas A&M University at Galveston.

Our standard rates for summer housing, dining, recreation facilities, classrooms and pool can be found here.

It is important to note that, at this time, we do not provide linen service for our residence halls and all groups will need to bring their own linens (sheets, pillows, towels, etc.) for their comfort. We will provide shower curtains, trash cans, and toilet paper for all bathrooms.

At this time third-party groups who wish to have TAMUG involved with their programming efforts will be required to show proof of insurance and background checks on all adults (if you will have any participants under the age of 18, under supervision of adults) before any approval to come to campus can be granted. Additionally, there is a $2 per participant (not counselors), per day processing fee applied to all third-party groups, and all adult counselors will be required to take a free, one-hour, online state mandated child safety course.

TAMUG also provides facilities rental options for groups. Our rates are the same, however, under this option TAMUG is not responsible and does not participate in the camp or conference. The program is your own, and we provide the facilities for you to host it.
