Be sure that you have filled out your housing application and chosen your housing assignment. Students entering campus housing for Spring 2023 will not be able to select a room but will be placed manually by a CL&L staff member based on their building preferences and availability.

The Spring 2023 and Fall 2023-Spring 2024 housing applications are now available.
The largest of TAMUG's current residence halls, there are over 600 students of different majors and classifications living in the six floors of the Texas A&M Maritime Academy Hall. The Corps of Midshipmen Office is also housed in TAMMAH. Texas A&M Maritime Academy Hall also houses the Engineering LLC. Suite types include quads, doubles, and singles. In addition to the student residences, the Texas A&M Maritime Academy Hall also includes a variety of lounge space, office space, four classrooms, a large laundry room, a kitchenette, a barbershop and a Mess Deck operated by Chartwells. The Mess Deck includes coffee, smoothies, subs, and much more - all of which is accessible with student meal plans. Campus Living & Learning is located in Pacific Hall in suite 5110.
These two residence halls opened Fall 2012 and can house 294 students in each hall. These buildings feature interior hallways and several study and social spaces on every floor. The second floor of each building has a media pit with comfortable seating available for resident use. Each building has a large central lobby including a kitchenette (stove, oven, sink). The buildings enclose a center outdoor courtyard area perfect for socializing, impromptu Frisbee, or outdoor movies. Each suite houses four students, with two students in each room. Each suite has a small private study area for the suitemates to share, located outside bedrooms. A bathroom is also located outside of student rooms and is shared by the suite.

Over 250 students live in our two-story residence hall known as Hullabaloo Hall and three-story residence hall known as Oceans Hall. The interior corridors make it very easy for residents to get to know all of their neighbors. Students vary from first-year to seniors, and there is a broad variety of majors living in Hullabaloo and Oceans. Students are paired two per room. Each room has a private balcony and shares a bathroom with one other room. Laundry facilities are provided on the first floor of the building. The following LLCs are housed in Oceans and Hullabaloo Halls: A+, F1RST, LEAD, and WAVE.
The virtual tour portrays a standard Hullabaloo 1st floor (2 person) room, with jack-and-jill style bathrooms shared with room next door. All bed heights are adjustable, as well the option to loft the bed using an additional pair of bed ends included in the room. Oceans rooms are a similar style, but please note that Oceans Hall rooms have two pairs of bed ends instead of one pair of tall bed ends; the beds are still adjustable and can be lofted. Second floor Hullabaloo rooms have private bathrooms and as a result have one sink instead of two.

The 2022-2023 rate is $3927.00 per person, per semester for Texas Maritime Academy Hall, for a double occupancy residence hall room. [Summer Rate: $1542.00 for double occupancy and $2313.00 for single occupancy]
The 2022-2023 rate is $3,381.00 per person, per semester for Atlantic and Pacific Halls, for a double occupancy residence hall room. [Summer Rate: $1329.00 for double occupancy and $1993.50 for single occupancy]
The 2022-2023 rate is $2,656.00 per person, per semester, in Hullabaloo and Oceans, for a double occupancy residence hall room. [Summer Rate: $1043.00 for double occupancy and $1564.50 for single occupancy]

The application for Summer 2023 housing will go live during the Spring 2023 semester.
NOTE REGARDING CREDIT HOURS FOR SUMMER HOUSING: Returning students (i.e., currently residing on-campus for Spring 2023) ARE NOT REQUIRED to maintain a minimum number of enrolled credit hours for Summer 2022 on-campus housing. However, you must be registered for the Fall 2023 semester and you must have a legitimate reason to live on-campus for Summer 2023 (e.g., employment, enrollment at a local community college, etc.).
The Summer 2023 rates for students in Atlantic Hall are as follows:
Summer 1: $1147.22 (double occupancy) ($1720.83 for single occupancy/private room*)
10-Week: $2294.44 (double occupancy) ($3441.66 for single occupancy/private room*)
Summer 2 (& Gateway): $1147.22 (double occupancy) ($1720.83 for single occupancy/private room*)
*Availability of single occupancy/private rooms will be limited and will be based on occupancy. Requests for single occupancy/private room will be on a first-come-first-serve basis and are not guaranteed.
ROOM SELECTION: Please note, students will not be selecting their specific rooms for the summer. Your room assignment will be made by Campus Living & Learning. Therefore, if there is someone you would like to room with please make sure you both fill out the summer housing application and confirm each other as roommates and we will be able to make the proper arrangement.
