Campus Living & Learning manages the day-to-day operations of the residence halls and serves to facilitate services for campus residents, such as maintenance work orders, extermination, and check-in/check-out services.
Campus Living & Learning provides an environment where students may safely live and learn; is academically centered and focused on the holistic development of students.

Spring 2027 Housing application is LIVE!
Please click the "Apply here for Housing" link on the right column of this page to apply for the Spring 2027 term. Move-in for Spring 2027 is January 15th for most students not in a special program allowing/requiring them to return earlier.
Fall 2027-Spring 2028 School Year Housing Application will go live November 4th at 12 Noon!
We are currenly beta-testing and trouble shooting the application to assure a smooth process for new Aggies. If you experience any issues with the application after Noon Central on the 4th, please contact the CL&L office right away at 409.740.4445 or at cll@tamug.edu!
Announcement regarding the on-campus requirement and campus capacity.
In the Spring of 2026, a confluence of events (a spike in recruiting, reduced space capacity due to construction, and delays in our ship arrival) combined to create an unprecedented housing shortage, leading to the suspension of the on-campus housing requirement as well as the housing application altogether. While it is certainly possible any of these events repeat themselves, we do not anticipate that happening and have therefore re-instated the on-campus requirement so long as housing is available for the Fall. On-campus housing is not, nor has it ever been, guaranteed for all students and is subject to availability. So while we do not anticipate a housing situation near what was experienced last year, we do encourage every student who may want to live on campus to apply as early as possible. Be sure to complete the housing application ending with paying the one-time, non-refundable $75 and returning to the housing application to confirm completion.
The date your housing application fee date is paid holds your spot in line.

Fall 2026 Housing Update:
Due to reduced housing capacity and increased demand for on-campus housing, priority (guaranteed) housing application deadlines for the 2026–2027 academic year have passed.
Students who submit an application after their respective priority deadline are not guaranteed on-campus housing. While we will make every effort to accommodate all applicants, space is limited, and students are strongly encouraged to explore alternative housing options.
If a student’s plans change after submitting an application, they may cancel their housing application through the Housing Portal via the Cancellation Form.
Cadet Housing: This housing update for the 2026-2027 school year does not to cadet housing assignments, as cadet housing remains guaranteed in accordance with program requirements.

Any student hoping to live off-campus is required to apply for permission to live off-campus with TAMUG Campus Living & Learning through the online housing portal.
