New Student Conference (NSC)
Howdy New Aggie!
New Student Conferences are held for newly admitted freshmen and transfer students. You will register for your first classes, tour the campus, meet TAMUG faculty and staff, learn about financial aid and scholarships, and much more.
New Student Conferences held in June/July of 2027 will be held in our Aggie Special Events Center (Building 3035) with check in beginning at 2pm on day 1 of the conference. Specific information regarding all of our New Student Conferences will be sent directly to students via their TAMU email.

June 9-10: College of Engineering (Not Marine Engineering Technology)
June 14-15: College of Engineering (Not Marine Engineering Technology)
June 16-17: College of Marine Sciences and Maritime Studies
June 22-23: College of Engineering
June 24-25: College of Marine Sciences and Maritime Studies
June 29-30: College of Marine Sciences and Maritime Studies
July 1-2: College of Engineering (Not Marine Engineering Technology)
August 19: Transfer Student NSC
August 25: All Majors (College of Engineering and College of Marine Sciences and Maritime Studies)
Check in for our June/July New Student Conferences will be from 2-4pm on Day 1 of NSC with each June/July conference concluding around 3pm on Day 2. Students attending NSC on August 19th and August 25th will receive emails with unique schedules a few weeks prior to their NSC.
Which conference should you attend?
Students admitted as a Transfer student to Texas A&M University at Galveston have the option of attending a one-day Transfer NSC or the two-day Freshman NSC. If you are a traditional college student who has never attended a university, you may wish to choose the more in-depth Freshman NSC. In order to register for the freshman conference, as a Transfer admit, you will need to contact the Enrollment Services office.
