Lily Chabot '26
Howdy! My name is Lily Chabot and I am from Greene, Maine.
I am involved in a variety of student organizations, including Howdy Crew, the Galveston Campus' Student Government Association as student body president, a campus ambassador in the Maroon Delegates and as a camp counselor working with new students during our Sea Aggies Learning Traditions (S.A.L.T.) Camp. I've enjoyed all of these experiences and opportunities, however, the decision to join Howdy Crew has really helped me grow into a strong and confident person and student leader.
Following my graduation from Texas A&M University's College of Marine Sciences and Maritime Studies I hope to attend graduate school to pursue a Master of Science in Maritime Archaeology. As a lover of culture , history and conservation, I hope to travel the world scuba diving shipwrecks while also assisting in the conservation of historic artifacts. My career aspirations are to work for SEARCH Incorporated as an archaeologist within the company’s maritime sector.
