Student Resources

Texas A&M University Galveston Campus is committed to establishing a community that embraces and supports all of our campus community by building and maintaining a community of respect.

In order to be truly representative of the demographics of our state and the nation and to promote a multitude of perspectives, backgrounds, discipline, and heritage in everything that we do, our campus celebrates everything you bring into the campus community. This commitment is driven and focused through the dedication of TAMUG to the six core values of Texas A&M University.

Students are the lifeblood of our campus and to keep everything moving, we have specific resources that support your academic, social, and professional goals. The 1973 Center provides access to resources both on and off campus depending on student needs. Within the center, we have the TAMUG food pantry, a fully functioning kitchen to prepare food, and spaces for students to study and/or socialize all with community building in mind. We break down stigmas to access resources and in turn support every student on our campus by finding resources every student needs. Stop by today to chat about ways we build the community together.

Texas A&M University Galveston Campus recognizes that success is driven by people. We understand the value of different perspectives and ideas, and strive for a workforce comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences and talents. By welcoming people with the capacity to provide alternative views, we enhance our ability to find solutions to complex problems, manage change, promote creative thought and integrate within a global society. We are committed to an educational and work environment that welcomes, celebrates and recognizes the importance you bring to our shared community.
