I was born in Galveston but was raised in Pasadena, TX. I decided to come to Texas A&M Galveston because I found that there were more opportunities here than in College Station and I grew to love it here and in the long run decided to stay here. I love music but specifically rock. Growing up, this is what my dad would listen and I just grew to love music and of course as I grew up my music taste changed but eventually, I did a full circle and came back to listening to rock n' roll.

Aloha hoa ! My name is Kila Albertie and I am from the Heart of Aggieland, College Station Texas! Originally I was supposed to go to the University of Hawaii at Manoa; but I figured going to one of the best schools for marine biology in the state would be a great first start on my academic career! I am on a vet track, and am pursuing to attend veterinary school after I graduate to pursue becoming a marine veterinarian for larger marine mammals and bony fish! Currently I'm very interested in studying cetacean behaviors and sea turtle rehabilitation! I also currently volunteer at the Gulf Center for Sea Turtle Research at TAMUG! Besides academics, I also am currently the Vice President of the Black Student Alliance on campus, and am Public Relations Coordinator for Sea Aggie Pride! I also was the summer intern for the 1973 center this past summer, and I also work at Student Buisness Services! If you ever see me on campus feel free to say hello, I love meeting new people and being able to be a resource for new and current students on campus ! Mahalo and Gig Em !

Prior to their academic journey, Ash served in the Marine Corps Reserves, where they got paid to travel and rapidly deconstruct buildings. Beyond their academic pursuits, Ash is an officer in Central College Ministries, a queer affirming faith group, and Sword and History Club, a fencing group with a focus on historical accuracy. Ash's curiosity extends beyond the ocean's depths and the annals of history. In their free time, they enjoy cooking, tabletop roleplaying games, and other ways of fostering community.

I'm Isabel and I'm a marine biology major! I found Texas A&M Galveston by chance when my high school took a campus tour. I love whales, seals, and sea lions, which I'm going to pursue studying after TAMUG. I've made a home away from home on this campus, studying what I enjoy and what I don't enjoy, lounging in my friend's dorms, and having a quiet place to study or relax. TAMUG is a small campus which I find to be fairly pleasant in a way. Since the campus is small and located on an island, I can take short walks around campus or watch the sunset at Shell Beach. This campus makes me feel like I belong here.

I was born and raised in Arlington, Texas where I attended Martin high school. I played softball and was in the orchestra. I have been wanting to come to TAMUG since I was twelve and I am very excited to call this place home. I am currently in the Aggie Corps of Cadets here in Galveston where I am a squad leader for Delta 2. I love playing video games my favorites are the Assassins Creed franchise and Minecraft. Some of my favorite movies are Star Wars and Twilight. I like listening to all kinds of music and love discovering new artists and bands. I’m a bit of a gym rat and love working out.
