Get To Know Liz Musgrove

What in your life drew you to your current field of study?

I started writing short stories and journaling when I was about 8 years old. Both of my grandmothers instilled in me a love of fiction and poetry. These early experiences inspired me to make teaching and writing my life’s purpose. Throughout my career, I’ve taken many winding paths that helped me understand the student experience from admission to graduation and hone my professional writing skills.

What do you hope your students gain from studying or working with you?

I am dedicated to helping students build skills that translate to any career and empowering them to find their path toward personally rewarding work.

What are you passionate about in your personal life?

Mindfulness, exercise, island life, and love in all its forms.
