Open Swim Schedule

The pool is only open to current students, faculty, and staff of TAMUG or those with a community membership.

Fall OPEN swim hours starting August 24th,2026.

Monday: 7am-9am & 3pm-8pm

Tuesday: 7am-9am & 3pm-8pm

Wednesday: 7am-9am & 3pm-8pm

Thursday: 7am-9am & 3pm-8pm

Friday: 7am-9am & 3pm-8pm

Saturday: 11am-4pm

Sunday: CLOSED

Specific Date Planned Closures:

September 22, 2026 from 8am-9am (scheduled class)

September 23, 2026 from 8am-9am & 3pm-5pm (schedule class)

November 25th-28th for Thanksgiving Holidays

December 12, 2026 until begining of Spring semester.

The pool is only open when a lifeguard is on duty.
Only current TAMUG students, faculty, and staff or alumni and community members with a membership to the Campus Recreation Center are allowed to use the facility.
Proper swim attire is required.
People with open wounds or infectious diseases are not permitted in the pool.
The practice of hyperventilating and extended breath holding activities in the pool is PROHIBITED (Breath Holding Policy).
No pets are allowed in the pool area.
Lap lanes are for lap swimming only.
Do not hang on the lane lines.
Food should be kept to a minimum and kept away from the pool.
No running or horseplay on the pool deck.
No glass or other breakable containers are allowed.
No hanging on the basketball goal.
The aquatic staff has the authority to deem a dive/jump unsafe.
The pool will close when lightning is within 10 miles.
While Dive class is in pool, lap swimming only.
