TAMUG Staff Council    

  • We act as a liaison between staff members and administration.

  • We are not a grievance council.

  • We serve as the voice of the staff on matters that effect the welfare of the institution, including implementation of new policies, procedures and programs that the staff view as important.

  • We foster and enhance communication between staff, faculty, and students through annual morale building events such as the Halloween Costume Contest, Ice Cream Social and Bake-Off, Holiday Craft Fair, Chili Cook-Off,  as well as Spring Fling.

  • We are responsible for and also present the following awards

    • Employee of the Quarter

    • Employee of the Year

Staff Emergency Fund

The Texas A&M University Staff Emergency Fund (SEF) was established to provide limited financial assistance to both classified and non-classified staff employees who are experiencing a temporary hardship due to a significant life event. Donations from faculty and staff are currently being accepted.

Staff Ombudsperson

The TAMUG Staff Ombudsperson serves as an independent, impartial, confidential, and informal resource for staff members of TAMUG. They endeavor to help staff identify options for addressing workplace concerns and ensure that related processes are fair and impartial for all parties involved.
