Here are the instructions for connecting to the Wi-Fi.Wireless at Texas A&M Galveston
jellyfish (TAMUG Wi-Fi SSID ) MADE MORE SECURE!
Jellyfish has been upgraded to help secure your wireless data. There are a few simple steps to connect.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- When you access the Jellyfish wireless network, browse to any non-Google website and you will be presented with a login screen.
- The TAMUG Login will ask for your NetID.
- Enter your NetID ( JonDoe ) username and password and you are ready to browse.
- You must check the accept box.
- Alternatively, click on the Guests button to be taken to a page to input credentials. After completing the form, you will receive an email and text message with a username and password that will let you connect.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A PROBLEM?

If you are having issues logging in due to incorrect NetID credentials, go to http://gateway.tamu.edu/ to resolve the issue.
If signing in as a guest and you cannot receive emails or texts, come to the IS Office (CLB #3007 Room 115) and we can get you connected.
