What in your life drew you to your current field of study?

There are things that we value but can’t individually purchase. Just because we don’t put a price tag on them doesn’t mean they’re worthless. I wanted to measure the value of such things.

What do you hope your students gain from studying or working with you?

The joy of learning and how to apply what they learn to solve problems in society.

What are you passionate about in your personal life?

Spending time with my family.
