Respondus Lockdown Browser is a tool that works in Canvas to prevent students from accessing other applications on their desktop/laptop, including other browsers and communications channels, during the exam.
Respondus Monitor is a tool used in conjunction with Respondus Lockdown Browser in Canvas to record students taking the exam using Artificial Intelligence. This algorithm flags any testing irregularities for review by the faculty member and/or TA.
