The Texas A&M University at Galveston
Maroon Delegates Application 2017-2018

Applications are now being accepted for students interested in applying for the Texas A&M University – Galveston Campus Maroon Delegates. Students selected for the program will serve by aiding with special program initiatives that stem from within the Office of the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President. Please contact Brian McKinney at (409) 740-4908 or via email at mckinneb@tamug.edu with any questions. The Office of the COO and Vice President will provide all Delegates with an official blazer, training, and other apropos components.

Maroon Delegate Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled as a student at Texas A&M University Galveston Campus
  • Must be in good conduct and academic standing with the university
  • Must have a minimum 2.5 GPR
  • Must have a complete fall and spring semester remaining as a student at Texas A&M University Galveston campus
  • Must have a good base knowledge of the university and its programs
  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Must be willing to devote time to important and often mandatory Maroon Delegate events

Application Process:

March 1st – Applications made available

March 18th – Application Deadline

March 19th – Applications will be reviewed

March 23rd – Applicants will be notified of their selection status

March 30th – Applicant Introductory Ceremony will be held

April 1st – Applicants will be notified of their selection status
