In compliance with federal law, the following information is maintained and available through the office listed below.
Campus Crime Statistics and Security Policies
An
Annual Security Report is available that includes information on campus
security policies and statistics. Security policies include: reporting
crimes and emergencies, security resources, crime awareness and
prevention, security of campus facilities and residence halls, alcohol,
drug and weapon violations. The 2011 Annual Security Report for Texas
A&M University at Galveston includes statistical date for calendar
years 2010, 2009, and 2008. Please note that pursuant to further review,
crime statistics for calendar years 2009 and 2008 have been updated
since September 30, 2011. Also, statistics for calendar years 2007,
2006, and 2005 were reviewed and updated. Please see updated information
in the attachment.

Higher Education Campus Fire Safety Standards and Measures
In compliance with federal law, the following information is maintained and available through the office listed below.
Campus Fire Statistics and Fire Safety Policies
The Annual Fire Safety Report is available that includes information on
fire safety systems and fire statistics for on campus student housing
facilities. The 2011 annual fire safety report includes statistical data
for calendar years 2009 and 2010. In the Annual Fire Safety Report
issued in 2010, one fire occurring in calendar year 2009 was reported
for informational purposes. The fire did not occur in on campus student
housing facilities.
