What in your life drew you to your current field of study?

Four decades of practical experience in maritime business and related fields.

What do you hope your students gain from studying or working with you?

I hope students develop genuine interest in our topics and a self-sustaining desire to learn more, so their knowledge will continue to grow - a never-ending process.

What are you passionate about in your personal life?

Giving back what I have learned and continue to learn. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and competitive running.
