What in your life drew you to your current field of study?

After having a successful career in another field, I decided that my education was my highest priority. At Texas A & M University Galveston I was able to study, learn, and actually have a second career in my life.

What do you hope your students gain from studying or working with you?

That life has so many opportunities if you are willing to learn, study, and work for them. I hope my students will realize how fortunate they are to have the opportunity to attend the university and will someday be a responsible worker in the maritime industry.
