Why did you become an academic advisor?
I had a stellar experience in college and want to be there to give that same type of experience to as many students as I can. College is hard, but knowing you have someone there to support you every step of the way makes it easier to push through.
What is your favorite thing about the TAMUG experience?
The campus community! Everyone here is so welcoming and easy to talk to. You're never far from a friend at TAMUG!
What is your best advice for incoming students?
Growth happens outside of your comfort zone, so be afraid and do things anyways.
What do you do when you are not advising?
Read, spend time with my family and friends, and explore Galveston!
