Why did you become an academic advisor/academic coach/educational administrator?
I wanted to help students achieve their dreams. I want to make a difference in someone’s life

What is your favorite thing about the TAMUG experience?
I love being so close to the ocean. I l also enjoy the smaller college campus where everyone knows each other.

What is your best advice for incoming students?
Be open to all the possibilities. Not all opportunities will be great experiences, but it’s just as important to learn from your struggles as it is to learn from your triumphs.

What is your advising/coaching/leadership philosophy?
Ensure that students receive an equal amount of challenge and support.

What do you do when you are not advising/coaching/working?
I love trying new foods or new restaurants (I am a big foodie); playing video games with my kids; lounging with my dogs; catching Pokémon around campus; reading a good book, and watching TV.

What else should students know about you?
My favorite color is green. I love Disney movies and musicals. I do not like to drink coffee, but I love Sweet Tea and Iced Chai Tea Lattes.
