Why did you become an academic advisor/academic coach/educational administrator?
I like working with students 1:1 and providing resources and supports to students to help them achieve success in college.

What is your favorite thing about the TAMUG experience?
I love the personalized feel of a smaller campus, and I have an amazing team here in CALS.  You also can’t beat the beautiful views here!

What is your best advice for incoming students?
Make sure you have a good time management system in place to stay on top of your assignments in your classes.  Don’t underestimate how much time you will need to devote to your studies.

What is your advising/coaching/leadership philosophy?
We all make mistakes; my role is to help students reflect and learn from them and to provide tips/resources to ensure history doesn’t repeat itself.

What do you do when you are not advising/coaching/working?
I am crafty and I love plants/gardening.

What else should students know about you?
I am a great baker and I LOVE animals (especially my 3 dogs).
