FAMILY CAMPUS VISITS

Family campus visits are offered on specific scheduled weekdays from 10:00am-12:00pm when the University is open.  Advance registration is required. 

We do not offer family campus visits:  On weekends; When the University is closed; The week before the first week of classes for Fall and Spring semesters; During the first week of classes for Fall and Spring semesters; and During final examinations for Fall and Spring semesters.

Family campus visits will not be available from May 1 through May 31 due to commencement and preparations for end-of-semester closing as well as preparations related to the start of Summer Sessions.  

Family campus visits for Summer 2024 will resume Monday, June 3.  The last family campus visit offered for Summer 2024 will be Friday, August 9.

The Fall 2024 family campus visit schedule will be published the week of June 24 starting with Monday, August 26.

GROUP CAMPUS VISITS

Group campus visits for schools (i.e., middle school, high school) and college-interest organizations (i.e., AVID, TRIO, etc.) must be scheduled in advance and can only be for days/times during University business hours of operation (Monday through Friday between 9:00am and 4:00pm).

For the month of August 2024, we are not able to accommodate group campus visits the week of August 12 (the week week before the start of the Fall 2024 semester) and the week of August 19 (the first week of classes for the Fall 2024 semester).

FIELD TRIPS AND CAMPS

Texas A&M University at Galveston offers field trips and experiences for all ages through Sea Camp and Sea Campus Kids! These range from week-long adventures and hands-on research experience to day camps for young marine biologists in training.
