Sea Campus Kids

Sea Campus Kids is a marine-oriented day program for campers ages 6-11.  Campers will have their hands-on and feet-in as they participate in activities such as wading through a salt marsh, dissecting a fish or seining in the surf.

Sea Campus Kids

Registration for Sea Campus Kids Day Camp (Waiting list only) will open on March 4th at 9:00a.m (CST)

All participants will register to the waiting list until we have a set capacity in April. Once we have a confirmation we will inform camper parents of their position.

If you are in the top 8 of a camp program you are highly likely to receive a spot. Please avoid registering for multiple sessions you do not intend on attending as this will prevent campers from having and accurate idea of opportunities this summer.

Reef Inspectors! (8:00 AM - 11:30 AM)  $165

Coral reefs are extremely biodiverse ecosystems, meaning lots of ocean creatures depend on them. Coral reefs are home to more than 25% of marine life! Thousands of species from invertebrates to marine mammals count on crazy little coral polyps to build complex communities. How do they all get along?? Become a certified Reef Inspector (RI) while exploring the lives of ocean creatures living side-by-side, such as sea anemones and clownfish. Inspection of our amazing coral reefs or “rainforests of the sea” will reveal the freeloaders, the scroungers, the cordial, the aloof, and the lethal!

But soft! What light through yonder wave breaks! Arise young artists, join us as we explore the art of the ocean through science! Let’s draw inspiration from the hermit crab and decorate our shells with jewels of the sea, dance like the peaceful waves, and sing like the dolphins as they jump and play! Enjoy this creative workshop of music, theatrical, and visual art.
