What in your life drew you to your current field of study?

I used to look at things differently since very early on. I was not really too much into study. But, I used to observe very carefully how things happen, and think about the problem critically and analyze it logically. Later on I figured that mathematics resembled my way of thinking. It gave me enormous sense of satisfaction. This is how I chose mathematics to be my field of study.

What do you hope your students gain from studying or working with you?

There is a wide spread math-is-difficult stereotype everywhere. Yes, it is difficult. But, the victim of this stereotype is the very basic math that everybody can do. I hope to change this mentality as much as I can in our students. Also there are students who like mathematics. I hope after working with me they will also enjoy the problem solving.

What are you passionate about in your personal life?

We look too much into others. I like to know myself more and discover myself more. I live in imagination as much as I do in reality. Outdoor is always beautiful.
