Community Teams    

Community teams are responsible for developing and gathering feedback from community stakeholder groups. Community leads will determine team membership and appropriate feedback mechanisms and provide recommendations for consideration to the task force and functional groups.

Faculty and Academic Affairs Community

Community Lead: Grace Townsend, Faculty Senate

The committee should propose recommendations for collecting faculty feedback, strategies and tools to keep faculty informed, opportunities to connect with peer institutions, stewardship opportunities for industry and donor engagement, and opportunities to create a positive association with the new school and maritime academy in marketing and communications efforts. Additional responsibilities include a risk analysis and participation in marketing and communications materials audit (digital and print) in faculty and academic affairs.

The committee should propose recommendations for collecting staff feedback, strategies and tools to keep staff informed, lateral communication proposal, and opportunities to create a positive association with the new school and maritime academy in marketing and communications efforts. Additional responsibility includes a risk analysis and participation in marketing and communications materials audit (digital and print) across centralized and local units.
