Texas A&M University President Michael Young Visits A&M Galveston    

Texas A&M University President Michael Young (right) was met Wednesday at the Galveston airport for his first visit to campus by Admiral Robert Smith (left) and Galveston Mayor Jim Yarbrough (center). President Young was accompanied by Texas A&M University Provost and Executive Vice President Dr. Karan L. Watson and Interim Dean of Faculties Dr. Blanca Lupiani.  The group was welcomed to campus through a saber arch of midshipmen members of the Hearne Guard.  President Young and Dr. Watson took a brief tour of the campus and met with administrators, faculty and students.
