Welcome Class of 2027!
New Student and Family Programs at Texas A&M University at Galveston are designed to help provide a seamless transition for all incoming students and their families as they begin their time in college. Our professionals and student staff are in charge of New Student Conference, Howdy Week, S.A.L.T Camp, Family Weekend, and more. Participating in New Student Conference, Howdy Week, and S.A.L.T. Camp is an effective way for a first time college student to kickstart a successful career at Texas A&M University at Galveston.
Furthermore, our University offers unique extended orientation programming for our Transfer and Nontraditional student populations through "TIKI Camp," a new program founded in 2021.
