Financial Aid    

Texas A&M University at Galveston offers many financial aid options to help you pay for college. Applying for financial aid is an important part of preparing for your college education. Eligibility for various programs is first determined by your residency status. Once residency is determined, you will know which financial aid application must be completed.

To apply for financial aid, please submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using Title IV School Code 003632, Texas A&M University, College Station, TX.  

Please note the following important dates for the FAFSA:

  • October 1:  FAFSA available
  • December 15:  Recommended submission date
  • January 15:  Priority date

Scholarships are a form of financial aid that assist students with the cost of education. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, extracurricular activities, volunteer services, employment, and on some cases financial need. Scholarships are designed to reward, encourage, and assist students in pursuing academic excellence and leadership roles. Scholarships do not need to be repaid but may have specific criteria for you to remain eligible (i.e. grade point average, major, course load, etc.).

Be sure to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for need-based scholarships. The Texas A&M University School Code for the FAFSA is 003632 with a priority deadline of December 15.
