Texas Clipper Pier  - The 450 foot pier serves as the home of the Texas Maritime Academy training ship and related support equipment.  Over the next few years the pier will undergo a multimillion dollar upgrade to it’s infrastructure and support structure to enable it to handle the next generation of training vessels.

Small Boat Basin - The heart of our operations is a 10 slip facility with fixed and floating docks capable of handling boats up to 100ft.  The support infrastructure includes a boat ramp for our trailered research fleet, a covered boat lift that supports our more frequently used vessels, and a system of floating piers that will serve as the home for smaller vessels in our fleet as well as the offshore sail team.

Started in the fall of 2009 the basin is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation that will improve our services, infrastructure and appearance.

Gravity Lifeboat Training Station - An essential part in the training of any merchant mariner is lifesaving.  Installed in 2008 this simulator provides the practical hands on experience for our cadets.  With the simulator they can practice the procedures and safe handling of lifeboats at sea.

Covered Boat Lift - A recent addition to our waterfront has been a covered boat lift used to store our most used research vessels.  The lift provides the capability to keep the boats out of the weather and to do minor maintenance and repair.
