Academic Credit for Military Service

Texas A&M University awards credit for physical education courses Kinesiology 198 and Kinesiology 199, and up to 12 credit hours of general electives can be awarded using the Military Service Credit Request Form (link below).  Furthermore, the veterans may be awarded credit for military schools attended in accordance with the American Council on Education (ACE) Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services. The Military Service Credit Request Form, along with a copy of the veteran's VA DD Form 214, is sent to Texas A&M - College Station, in order to be evaluated and applied toward the veteran's transcript. Once applied, the veteran's academic advisor may perform an adjustment to apply the general elective credits toward applicable course requirements on the veteran's degree plan.
