Hullabaloo
Hall houses the Office
of Residential Services as well as the largest lobby area for students to gather
and relax. Couches, television, a
pool table, and foosball table are situated to allow students to get together
and hang out after class. The
mailroom for Hullabaloo and Ocean's residents is also located in this lobby. A coin operated laundry facility is located at the opposite
end of the building.
The first floor hallway is
home to many freshmen men. This
situation allows for these new students to get to know each other and grow
together as they experience all of the challenges that new freshmen must face.
Intramural teams that are always competitive for the top honors as well
as numerous study groups originate from this hallway.
Each room enjoys a private balcony, and shares a bath with one other
room.
Many of the
upperclassmen who live on campus reside on the second floor of Hullabaloo.
The second floor rooms enjoy a private bath for each of the rooms as well
as a private balcony. The focus of the floor is for those who are typically a
little more academically focused as the hallway enforces 24-hour quiet hours.
The hallway usually has an equal number of male and female rooms, and the
feeling of a close community is very apparent, as many of the students have sat
in many of the same classes over several years.
