University Staff Council

2016-2019 University Staff Council Representation

TAMU’s University Staff Council (USC) has graciously invited us to have representation on their council.  This privilege has not previously been afforded to Galveston and is another indication of our changing culture.  We are a part of the Aggie Family!  With the recent creation of a Staff Emergency Fund for which Galveston staff members will be able to apply for those funds in a time of need (when it opens for such), representation on USC has become increasingly important to further support our staff.

The nomination period will re-open in Spring 2019.

To be eligible for nomination, the staff member must:

  • have a minimum of 2 years of service at TAMUG;

  • Not be a faculty member;

  • have a work performance that meets or exceeds expectations; and

  • not be in a formal disciplinary process.

Nomination forms should be submitted to Rachel Ball at
