Employee of the Quarter- First Quarter 2017

TAMUG Staff Council announces the 1^st Employee of the Quarter for fiscal year 2017.  Barbara “Barbie” Beanland, Business Administrator in the Academic Enhancement Department, has won the Employee of the Quarter award.  Barbie was nominated by her co-worker, Meredith Uher Zalesak.

“Barbie is a vital asset to ACEN, where she provides a backbone of reliability and forward thinking, showing genuine care of others and our school in all that she does. She is on the AIM Well, Emergency Bldg. Coordinators Council and Council for the Built Environment teams while maintaining her high standards of meticulousness in her duties in Academic Enhancement. Most recently, she eagerly volunteered to take on the financial reconciliation duties for all of Enrollment Services when assistance was greatly needed. She exemplifies the Aggie Spirit!” – Meredith Uher Zalesak.

“Barbie stepped up to assume responsibilities for another department. Being such a small campus, it is difficult when someone leaves. She has done an excellent job in a difficult time with yearend closing, recruiting season, and the peak of academic advising and services. I am very thankful when staff engage in efforts for the entire campus. She has served on the Tamug Staff Council and Wellness Committee, and planning and implementing multiple events.” – Donna Lang.
