Employee of the Quarter- Third Quarter 2016

Vadzim Troshkin, Web Communications Specialist in Information Services, has won the Employee of the Quarter award for the third quarter of FY 2016.

Vadzim was nominated by Kelly Angell for the following reasons:

“Vadim was tasked with a major undertaking when assigned to overhaul the TAMUG website. He created a new layout and design and systematically implemented departmental sites, eventually migrating the whole website. He invites site content managers to meet with him for one on one training as often as needed. In addition to designing a new layout, he also has become a go to person for photography of the campus as well as campus events, such as Mardi Gras and distinguished guest visits. Most importantly, Vadim does all of the above with a cheerful and positive attitude.”

Vadzim also received supporting comments from the department’s Director, John Kovacevich:

“Vadim is the fastest and most creative web designer/editor I have ever worked with. He prides himself in his ability to respond to web editing requests quickly and with a prototype that the end user can evaluate before making it live. When he started working at A&M he had to learn a different set of web editing tools than what he was use it, but this did not slow him down. He quickly picked up what we were doing and taught himself Responsive Web Design. He is an awesome employee!”
