Much like the Marine Engineering Technology degree offered at Texas A&M University at Galveston, this camp introduces campers to an interdisciplinary education in marine propulsion and maritime-related engineering. It explores Maritime Systems Engineering through topics such as fluid mechanics, naval architecture, structual design, and vcoastal nengineering. Campers engage in several hands-on building activities and competitions, get exposure to marine engineering labs at Texas A&M Univcerisy at Galveston and interact with Texas A&M University at Galveston engineering students ans staff. Field trips include: TAMUG training ship and simulator, Ocean Star Oil Rig Museum, and NASA.
