Drivers have the option to park school buses in any open parking lot on
the
Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012
Students are expected to be at the 2012 Galveston County Science & Engineering Fair, Saturday, Feb. 4 between 7:45 a.m. - 8 a.m. Judging begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. The exhibition area is open to the public from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
PARKING:
Convenient parking is available in the
SCHOOL BUS PARKING:
Drivers have the option to park school buses in any open parking lot on
the Moody gardens property, and they are also welcome to park in front of the
Visitor’s Center.
LUNCH INFORMATION:
Students: Lunch will be provided for
you. It will be served in the Moody Gardens Convention Center South Lobby. Please
note the earlier lunchtime for the Junior Division participants from 11:30 a.m.
to 12:30 p.m. Lunch for Ninth Grade and Senior Division participants will be
from noon to 1 p.m. Unless otherwise noted, students should remain with their
exhibits at all times. Breakfast will not be provided for students.
Teachers: Breakfast pastries and lunch will be provided for you in the Convention Center North Lobby. A designated Teachers’ Meeting Area will be held in the rear of Exhibit Hall B. During judging, teachers are not allowed in the exhibition area.
AWARDS CEREMONY:
Both awards ceremonies will be held in the rear of Exhibit Hall B. The Junior Division Awards Ceremony will be held at 2:15 p.m. The Ninth Grade and Senior Division Awards Ceremony will be held at 4 p.m.
