Team Rules

• When sailing out for practice in the Bayou, always use the "buddy system." Always wear a lifejacket in team boats. Coach boat must be in the water before sailing.
• Notify the coach and your skipper/crew prior to missing practice.
• Maintain a GPA of > 2.0 cumulative.
• Each team member should be prepared to sail in every regatta; i.e., You must inform the coach of potential weekend scheduling conflicts before you schedule the "conflict." I welcome your individual requests to either sail in, or avoid, specific events.
• Team priorities are: School and Work first, Sailing second, Social Life third
• Whenever travel situations permit, the team will travel and lodge together
• Every team member needs to complete the swim test prior to attending a regatta
• 420s, FJs and Lasers are available during team practice only; they are not for general recreation
• Gas expenses will be re-imbursed after the event (save your receipts).
• Be "Glad to be here!"
