A.    To Texas A&M University at Galveston (TAMUG) from Houston and points north and west: Take I-45 south to Galveston Island. After the I-45 causeway onto Galveston Island, take the first exit (Teichman Rd./Harborside Dr). At the stop sign turn right and follow Teichman Rd around. Pass Clary’s Restaurant on the left and immediately turn left into the entrance to the sailing site (there will be an open gate through a 6-foot high concrete wall; maroon and white Texas A&M sign with a propeller). Sailing site is at the west end of the property.

1.      For GBC: after the causeway, take the 61^st Street exit, and turn right (south) on 61^st St. Turn right on Heards Lane, turn right at second stop sign on 69^th St., and left on Avenue “O.” GBC is on your right.

B.     To Texas A&M University at Galveston (TAMUG) from New Orleans and points east: Take I-10 west to Winnie, TX. In Winnie take the “Boliver Peninsula-Galveston Ferry” exit. Follow this road south to the Gulf and then west along the shore for approximately 45 minutes and you will end up at the ferry landing.  Take ferry across to Galveston Island. Once in Galveston, follow Ferry Rd. to the second stop sign and turn right on Harborside Dr. Follow Harborside approximately 5 miles until you reach the stop sign at the intersection of I-45. Go through the stop sign, under I-45 and straight to the next stop sign. Go straight through this stop sign onto Teichman Rd. Follow Teichman Rd. around to the right. Pass Clary’s Restaurant on the left and immediately turn left into the entrance to the sailing site (there will be an open gate through a 6-foot high concrete wall; maroon and white Texas A&M sign with a propeller). Sailing site is at the west end of the property.

1.      For GBC: Once in Galveston, follow Ferry Rd to Seawall Blvd, which parallels the Gulf Coast. Turn right (south) onto Seawall. Turn right on 61^st St. Turn left on Heards Lane. Turn right at second stop sign on 69^th St. Turn left on Avenue “O.” GBC is on your right.

C.     To TAMUG from Seawall hotels: Seawall Blvd parallels the Gulf Coast. Take Seawall to 61st Street (Numbered streets increase from east to west along the island). Turn right (north from Gulf) on 61st St. Go to I-45 and underneath it. Turn left on access road, as if you were going to get on I-45. Do NOT get on I-45, but stay on access road until Teichman Road/Port Industrial Blvd. Turn left at this stop sign and follow Teichman Rd. around as it curves to the right. Clary's Restaurant will be on the left and immediately after it is a fenced area with the entrance to the sailing site (there will be an open chain link fence with a maroon and white Texas A&M sign with a propeller on it). Make a left into the fenced area. Sailing site is at the west end of the property.
