REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS: This weekend Matt, Amber, Christine, David, Stephanie, Adrian, Casey, and I competed in the UT Spring Regatta. Matt and Amber sailed A fleet for our "TAMUG 1" team, Christine and I sailed B, and Casey and Adrian sailed Lasers. The "TAMUG 2" team consisted of David and Stephanie, who sailed B fleet. There were 13 teams present, making it an exciting regatta. Unfortunately we were the only team to attempt qualification to the Trux Intersectional, since we had the only lasers.
The morning began with light breeze, and by the end of the day there was a shifty/puffy breeze between 5 and 15 knots. Lake Travis is low.

"TAMUG 1" ended up 2nd overall with Matt and Amber in 3rd in A, Christine and I in 1st in B, and Casey and Adrian as supreme rulers of the laser fleet. All and all it was an awesome regatta. "TAMUG 2", even with a phantom DNS (last plus 1, in points) for every A fleet race, managed to finish 10th. See full results below.
