(04.16.04 - 04.18.04) US Naval Academy

FRIDAY - Racing began Friday afternoon after a morning of practice. Three races were held in light 4-7 knot breezes that shifted from E to SSW during the day. Seven more races are scheduled over the weekend. SATURDAY - Four more races were held in 8-12 knot southerly breezes that got very light in the last two legs of the final race. URI dominated the day's sailing to move back into contention. Sunday - Two races were held in 5-7 knot SE breeze. URI continued their streak of firsts to win a tie-breaker over Navy with Cal Maritime only one point behind. The top three places were still up for grabs on the final lap of the final race.
