Occasionally, routine maintenance must be performed on various buildings equipped with sprinkler systems and/or renovation activities on the campus. When doing so, all work must be performed by a licensed contractor specifically permitted to work on sprinkler systems by the State of Texas. Prior to work a shutdown request must be completely filled out at the Safety Office and specific measures taken to ensure the safety of the building occupants and contents.
