| Dear Mr. T, First of all, I would like to
thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me through
college over the past few years. Without your timely and
consistent financial help, my dream of going to college would not
have come true.
When
I started college at HCC in the summer of 1999, I managed to pay
form my pocket for the first semester. But after my second
son was born in the same year, I had to take on a huge
responsibility of providing for my family. The fact that my
wife was no longer able to work due to a serious heart problem she
developed during the pregnancy and that I was the only source of
income in the household made the realty of pursuing college far
fetched.
Then, the good lord God sent you to the rescue. Your
foundation awarded me a scholarship in the year that followed.
It did not stop since then. The people at your foundation
would always call me and ask me if there was anything I needed.
All I had to do was go to school and attend my classes. I
had never seen such a commitment and good will before in my life.
After four years of college, I am going to graduate with honors
in Computer Engineering Technology on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at
Reliant Park Arena, Hall C. It would be a great honor to me
if you could be there to see the fruit of your good work blossom.
My wife and kids are very grateful for what you kindly did for all
of us.
Mr. T, I would like also to let you know that you and your
family were always in my prayers when you were undergoing the
cancer treatment. I praised the Lord that you pulled through
and were declared cancer free. May the Lord of compassion be
with you and look up on you for the rest of your life.
I hope to see you at the ceremony.
Grace and Peace.
