An NROTC scholarship includes all of the following:
Students accepted into the program earn more than just money for college. And they leave with far more than a just a college degree. NROTC candidates receive training and experience in one quality that will always be in great demand: leadership. Few other programs or scholarships can provide the kind of leadership and management training like the Navy. The program is demanding, but it offers the opportunity to test one's limits. Upon completion of service, NROTC officers invariably move on to positions of power and authority in all walks of life, whether they're leading a business or leading the country. If you think the NROTC Program is all uniforms and drills, think again. There is very little difference between life as an NROTC student and life as a "regular" student. You will have the freedom to enjoy all that college life has to offer. Sounds Great! How does it work? Apply for the Four Year NROTC Scholarship if you are in the fall semester of your High School Senior Year. Visit your nearest U.S. Navy Officer Recruiter to begin the application. You can read more about the four year scholarship below. If you are a High School Senior or a current College Student that did not get a Four Year Scholarship or you missed the application dead lines, you can still have a chance to earn a 3 Year Scholarship, a 2 Year Scholarship or Advanced Standing Contract Status. You will need to apply to the Texas A&M University at Galveston NROTC College Program, and if you are admitted, you will have the opportunity to participate in official military and leadership training. We will evaluate your progress on a semester by semester basis and we will submit competitive candidates for scholarships or advanced standing. You
must also meet physical and other eligibility requirements. |
