Preparing for Living in the Residence Halls

Residence Hall Linens Logo

The Residence Hall Association (RHA) would like to introduce you to Residence Hall Linens – a convenient source for ordering all of your campus living needs. RHA has partnered with Residence Hall Linens (On Campus Market) to provide TAMUG students and families with a convenient, affordable way to ensure you have everything you’ll need for life in our residence halls. The Residence Hall Linens program has all your campus living needs, from sheets and comforters to matching towels and storage items. We also partner with On Campus Marketing to offer students Resident Care Packages throughout the year with a variety of package options. Family, friends and loved ones can take advantage of this service to give their student(s) some words of encouragement and some fulfilling snacks to help them get through the school year. Proceeds from this program go to the RHA and are used for programming in the residence halls.

YES! Students from Checkin-Crew are available to assist new first-year students moving-in for the Fall semester. They are available for anyone arriving the Friday before Fall classes begin.

When can I move in?

Please refer to our Moving In page for more information.
In general, for the Fall, students may arrive to move-in to their assigned room NO EARLIER than the Friday before the start of the first day of classes.  Anyone requesting to move in earlier than the scheduled date must email and receive approval from the Assistant Director for Residence Life.  Those who move in early are subject to the daily rate.

Can I move-in early?

Due to our extensive summer cleaning and maintenance schedule, move-in dates are firm. In rare cases, an early move-in request may be approved by the Assistant Director for Residence Life. Please see above for more information about the move-in schedule. To be considered for a special-case early move-in, please contact Residence Life at 409-740-4445 or
