Texas A&M University at Galveston has three Residence Halls for our traditional students: Hullabaloo, Oceans, and Mariner Halls. Students enrolling in the US Maritime Service License Option Program or Naval ROTC typically reside in Albatross or Polaris Hall. Additionally, one company usually resides in Mariner Hall. Hullabaloo and Oceans are more traditional residence halls with interior hallways and double occupancy rooms. Rooms in Mariner are comparable in size, however rooms open to outside hallways. Except for one floor in Hullabaloo, all rooms are suited, and share a private bathroom with another room. Rooms on the 2nd floor of Hullabaloo have private baths. Albatross and Polaris rooms have private baths, and also include a small kitchenette including a refrigerator, microwave, small stove-top, and kitchen table with two chairs.
All TAMUG residence hall rooms are furnished. Each resident will have a twin-size bed, a dresser, desk with chair, bookcase, and closet or wardrobe. All windows have blinds and each room is equipped with cable TV, Ethernet and wireless internet access. Phone service is also available, however students are responsible for coordinating this.
We are working with Residence Hall Linens to provide you with an easy way to order linens that are guaranteed to fit the beds at Texas A&M University at Galveston. Check out the Linen Program here.
