2013 Move In
Fall Move In begins on Friday, August 23 at 8am, and continues throughout the weekend. Please refer to the Move In Guide for information about the check in process & how to prepare for move in.
You can not move in prior to this date unless you have been approved by Residence Life OR if you are participating in one of the events listed below. Our staff works diligently to have the rooms prepared for residents before the scheduled move in dates. **Please do not arrive prior to the scheduled move in time to avoid delays and to ensure your room is properly prepared for your arrival.**
If you would like to request special consideration to move in early, please email Naima Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, UIN, and reasoning for your early move in request.
ONLY students participating in events sponsored by TAMUG prior to the start of the Fall semester are permitted to move in early and will have their rooms ready for their arrival. These students are still responsible for completing the move in process, which includes checking in at the Residence Life Office and completing your Room Condition Report.
Those participating in the following activities will be able to move in at the following dates (all times are from 8AM-5PM):
*You will need to check in at the front desk of Residence Life (located in Pacific Hall), prior to move in.
O-WEEK CADETS ATTENDING SALT CAMP 1: Thursday, August 15
CADETS NOT ATTENDING SALT CAMP I: Sunday, August 18
CHECK-IN CREW: Thursday, August 15
CREW TEAM: Sunday, August 18
SALT CAMP (Session II ONLY): Thursday, August 22
NEW STUDENT & TRANSFER CONFERENCES (The NSC scheduled for 8/21-8/22 & Transfer on 8/23): Thursday, August 22
For students scheduled to attend the last New Student Conference Session in August, you will be able to move in on that day after your NSC activities on Thursday, August 22 from 8AM-5PM.
