Housing Requirements & Application process
All students are required to live in on-campus housing until they are 21 years old. There are approved circumstances where students may be eligible to live off campus, such as living with a parent in the Galveston Community or if they turn 21 before the first day of classes. To learn more about the process to live off-campus and how to apply for off-campus exemptions can be found here.
NEW TAMUG students will apply for housing using our online application. Before you fill out your housing application, please ensure that you have your payment information ready. Our application and payment process is completed entirely online. If you have any trouble or need assistance with your application, please contact Residence Life at 409-740-4445, and a staff member will be able to assist you.
