Maintenance Requests
All requests for maintenance service (whether a light bulb needs changing or your shower won't drain) should be made directly at the Residence Life Office between Mariner Hall and Hullabaloo Hall. DO NOT give maintenance requests directly to maintenance staff beause they cannot act upon direct requests. NOTE: Any repairs resulting from damage by the resident can be billed to the resident.
Facilities Services works to address each concern as soon as possible. Work orders are addressed in the order of urgency. Staff may enter a room to make repairs without residents being present in the room.
Students who need to use a plunger may contact Residence Life or a Community Leader to borrow a plunger.
Emergency problems which occur when the Residence Life Office is closed should be reported to an on-duty Community Leader by calling 409.740.4445 24-hours a day.
Internet Work Orders
Work orders for any problems with Ethernet or wireless connections should go directly to Apogee Telecommunications by calling 1.855.290.7137. This is a 24-hour customer service line.
