TIO Postdoctoral Fellowship

        Postdoctoral fellowship offered through Texas Institute of Oceanography/TAMUG.  Fellowships will provide 100%  salary support for 18 months and a small stipend for computer, travel and miscellaneous expenses.  Each fellow must be sponsored by a TAMUG faculty member who may only support one applicant per year.  Click on link above for full details.  Deadline:  February 2, 2009.

Office of Naval Research Sabbatical Leave Program

Applications for the Sabbatical Leave Program should be submitted six months prior to the start of the proposed sabbatical.

Naval Research Laboratory Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program

The sponsor, American Society for Engineering Education, provides support to significantly increase the involvement of creative and highly trained scientists and engineers from academia and industry to scientific and technical areas of interest and relevance to the Navy. The program provides approximately forty new postdoctoral appointments per year. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

National Wildlife Federation:  Global Warming Outreach Intern

The sponsor seeks an intern to work in the Western Natural Resource Center in Seattle, Washington for a three-month full-time paid internship in the global warming program. Applications accepted until the position is filled.
