Cedar Bayou from Holloway Park to Roseland Park
Cedar Bayou in Baytown affords a nice opportunity for a leisurely afternoon paddle between the neighborhood Holloway Park and Roseland Park. Holloway Park sits on Carey Bayou, a tributary of Cedar Bayou only a few hundred yards beyond the putin. It is about 5 miles downstream to Roseland Park on a flat broad bayou; deep and wide enough to support barge traffic and potentially lots of motor boats on a warm day. It is forested for most of its length.
Distance: 5+ miles
