Betty Thompson keeps the dream alive

Since 1991, the Department of Multicultural Services at Texas A&M University has sponsored the Keeping the Dream Alive Diversity Awards to acknowledge and honor the efforts of members of the campus community who strive during the year to promote understanding and appreciation of diversity at Texas A&M and Texas A&M at Galveston.

Betty Thompson, A&M Galveston senior human resource representative has been honored as the 2006 associate staff member who best demonstrates a willingness to assist and actively seeks out experiences which encourage diversity and interaction with a diverse student population.

Betty was recognized at the awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 26 in College Station.  The A&M and A&M Galveston campus communities are very proud of Betty and her dedication to promoting diversity on our campus.
